Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cranberries rinsed and picked over; discard any soft ones
  • 3/4ths cup sugar or to taste
  • 1/4th cup dried cranberries
  • two oranges
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of salt

Directions

  1. Zest and juice the oranges
  2. Add water to the orange juice to make 1 cup (juice + water)
  3. Put all ingredients, except the Grand Marnier, into a pot. Bring to a boil, cover partially, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add Grand Manier
  5. Taste for sweetness and add more sugar if necessary
